Android continued its surge in the global tablet shipments with 65.8% share, up by 12.8% YoY. Android now commands two thirds of the global tablet market share with a total of 37.9 Million shipments in Q1, 2014. Apple iPad (IOS) shipments were below expectations as it dipped to 28% of the total shipments when compared to 40% in Q1, 2013.
