Tablets see fastest rate of growth in terms of users internet behavior over the past year

Tablets are seeing the fastest rates of growth globally in terms of their usage for different purposes on the internet according to a recent study by a market research firm, GlobalWebIndex.

Uploading photos online in tablets has increased by 57% over the past year though the overall audience using tablets is way less than that using PCs, Laptops and Smartphones. The following are some of the other internet behaviours of users on tablet which have seen a vast rise over the course of past year.

1. Internet Banking – Up by 55%
2. Webmail Usage – Up by 55%
3. Watching a Video Clip – Up by 48%
4. Social Networking – Up by 46%
