Twitter the micro-blogging platform seems to be going the Facebook and Google+ way with its profile redesign. A prominent and much larger cover picture and importance to the user profile detailing can be noticed in the new design noticed by the Matt Petronzio of mashable recently on his twitter account. The social network has been doing lot of design changes off late and post its IPO to keep its investors on the edge and to turn twitter into a monetizable product.
